The journey continues…..

Every oil painting was beautiful

Clothing was unique, but expensive

Blue is the best color

Flower-filled balcony

Recently painted

Small churches at every turn

So easy to get lost

Could be going in circles

Bags and hats

Loved the colors

Apartments upstairs

Following the cobblestones

Iconic windmills of Mykonos

Used for grinding grains centuries ago

They asked us to take their picture with their camera

The perfect picture

Local cat

Several town cats

Wish we could see them working

Little Venice – houses are all taverns now

Appropriate name for a shop

A better view

Whitewashed houses

Similar to Santorini

Canvas would have been attached to the webbing

Efficient way to grind grains

Close-up

Wildflowers

Larger close -up

View from the top

Well-preserved

All that remains

Good technology for those days

Simple design

Thatched roof

Birds were hiding under the roofs

Many shades of blue

A connected island

Have stood for centuries

Very windy up here

Taking shelter behind a church

A single tower in the city

Another gold tabby

Green grasses

A better angle

Taken from a hotel on top

A souvenir shop on top

Sneaking a spot to sit

Layout of Mykonos Town

So white it was blinding

Many churches

Taverns of Little Venice

Need a dentist?

Were we here already?

A square

Only motorcycles could fit here

Tiny cars squeezed through this street

Designed in the old days to confuse invaders

If you can see water, you will find your way out

Going back up a different alleyway

Residences

A church

Bell tower

The Dalmatian pelican is on their handbags

Larger belltower

Revving up for Easter Week

So clean and inviting

OK, this seemed impossible, but the driver did it…just barely

Decorative doors

Big blue door

United Colors of Benneton

Beginning of the high end boutiques

Beautiful leather hand bags

Red is nice  too

A most clever lamp holder made with discarded galvanized fittings

One of us can do this at home

Jewelry was affordable in the small shops

Pretty as a postcard

Largest tree in the old city

Gardens were strictly potted plants

The grout in the walkways were sealed with enamel paint

Made for a nice stroll

Steep stairs

How can you resist this face?

Another famous church – all Greek Orthodox we believe

White is such a clean color

Way back to the harbor
